How to Install and Set Up the DP4300M-PCUT Perforation Cutter
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for safely installing the DP4300M-PCUT perforation cutter onto a DP4300M series printer, loading material, and adjusting its initial settings.

- Disconnect Power and Remove Tear-off Plate
WARNING: Disconnect the printer from the electrical outlet before proceeding. Fold down the printer's tear-off plate, pull its axles out of the holders, and then remove the tear-off plate.
- Mount the DP4300M-PCUT Cutter
Ensure the printer is still disconnected from the electrical outlet. Put the snap arm of the cutter into the guide on the printer. Push the cutter's axles into the holders. Fold up the cutter until it snaps securely onto the printer.
- Load Material into the Printer and Cutter
Fold down the mounted cutter. Insert labels into the printer as per the printer's operator manual, ensuring the front edge of the media strip reaches through the cutter. Guide the labels into the cutter's slot and then fold up the cutter.
- Power On and Perform Initial Synchronization
Switch on the printer. The cutter will perform a synchronization action. Press the ' ' button on the control panel to move the media forward and perform an initial cut for synchronization. This synchronization is not necessary if the printhead was not opened between print jobs.
- Configure Cutter Settings via Software or Printer LCD
For primary control, adjust cutter options in Easy Mark Plus labeling software: Select 'Print Document', choose your printer, press 'Properties', select 'Accessories Options', then 'Perforator option', and adjust settings. Alternatively, for printer LCD adjustments, navigate to 'Setup > Cutting' to set 'Cut position' and 'Perforation level'. For continuous media, go to 'Setup > Labels' and select 'Continuous media' for the 'Label sensor' setting.
