How to Install the Feed-Through Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Feed-Through Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and connection.

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Lockwashers

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

    Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly diagram.

  2. Install the telescope fitting

    Assemble the telescope fitting parts in the correct order, insert it into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length. Ensure the gasket is properly positioned against the flange.

  3. Anchor the telescope fitting

    Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides of the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws from the outside and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.

  4. Cut the wireway to length

    Cut the wireway body to the desired length, ensuring a square cut. Weld an extra flange to the body and grind off any sharp edges.

  5. Install swivel nipples

    Position the wireway section, flange gasket, swivel ring, and swivel nipple in order. Secure with clips, screws, and nuts as indicated in the installation details.

  6. Make box entries

    Cut out the necessary openings in the enclosure for the box connector and install the connector flange and gasket inside the enclosure, ensuring a proper seal.

  7. Install hangers

    Assemble the hangers according to the provided details and attach them to the wireway flanges in the desired positions.
