How to Install the Feed-Through Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Feed-Through Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and connection.

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

    Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them together using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.

  2. Install the telescope fitting

    Assemble the telescope fitting parts in the correct order, insert it into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length. Ensure the gasket retainer is positioned correctly and secure it with the compression ring and screws.

  3. Anchor the telescope fitting

    If the telescope fitting is used vertically, drill .25 inch diameter holes through the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws from the outside and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.

  4. Cut the wireway to length

    Cut the wireway body to the desired length, ensuring it is cut squarely. Weld an extra flange to the body and grind off any burrs or sharp edges.

  5. Install the swivel nipple

    Position the wireway section, flange gasket, swivel ring, and swivel nipple in order. Secure the assembly with screws and nuts, ensuring all components are tightly fastened.

  6. Make box entries

    For box entries, cut out the necessary openings in the enclosure as shown in the details. Position the box connector and gaskets inside the enclosure and align the wireway section with the exterior surface.

  7. Install hangers

    Assemble the hangers according to the provided details and attach them to the wireway flanges in the desired positions.
