- Assemble the Main Rack Brackets
Connect the main brackets of the rack using the twelve 3/8-16 Carriage Bolts and twelve 3/8-16 Hex Serrated Flange Nuts. For maximum stability, ensure the mount channels are installed centered on the main brackets and at the widest possible spacing. Torque all 3/8-16 fasteners to a minimum of 23.0 Ft-lbs (31.2 N-m).
- Attach Rack Components
Secure additional rack components (as shown in the rack assembly diagram on page 2) using the four #12-24 Screws. Attach any remaining components using the four #10-32 Screws and two #10-32 Nuts.
- Install Rack to Overhead Structure
Position the assembled rack beneath the Unistrut overhead structure channels. Secure the rack to the overhead structure using the four 1/4-20 Bolts, four 1/4-20 Strut Nuts, and four 1/4-20 Spring Washers. Torque all 1/4-20 fasteners to a minimum of 6 ft-lbs (8.1 N-m). Safety Warning: Ensure the Unistrut overhead structure is capable of supporting the combined weight of the rack and all intended equipment. Do not exceed 150 pounds of equipment weight.
