This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the PR2V08ATCWH Vertical Cable Manager on a 4-post rack, ensuring proper assembly and secure mounting.

Ratchet with M8, M10 & M17 socket, Screwdriver

Supplies needed:

M5 flange nuts, M10 carriage bolts, M6 screws, Push-in rivets, Mounting brackets

  1. Assemble the End Panel Channel

    Slide the top channel into the bottom channel of the End Panel and secure with (2) M6 screws.

  2. Install the Vertical Cable Manager

    Place the Vertical Cable Manager in the correct orientation and secure it using (3) M10 serrated flange bolts and (3) M10 serrated flange nuts.

  3. Attach the Backbone Panels

    Position the Backbone panels on both sides of the manager and secure them using (2) provided push-in rivets per side.

  4. Install the VCM Top Cap

    Position the VCM Top Cap with the brush entry oriented as desired, then secure it to the front of the VCM using a 5/16" screw and the rear closing clip to the rack using an M10 bolt and nut.

  5. Secure the End Panel

    Rest the top End Panel on the manager and channel, replace the rear closing clip, and secure with (4) M10 bolts and (4) M10 flange nuts.

  6. Calibrate and Verify Installation

    Ensure all components are securely fastened and verify the stability of the installation by gently shaking the Vertical Cable Manager.
