How to Install the R4P96-AC-KITWH

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the R4P96-AC-KITWH on a 4-post rack, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Ratchet with M8, M10 & M17 socket, Screwdriver

Supplies needed:

M5 flange nuts, M10 carriage bolts, M10 flange nuts, M6 screws, Button plugs

  1. Mount the Top Panel

    Align the holes for the Top Panel with the rack's top angle bracket. Secure in place using M8 nuts and bolts.

  2. Install the Bottom Panel

    Align the Bottom Panel with the designated holes. Install four #6 self-drilling screws but do not tighten yet. Move the Bottom Panel to the up-most forward position and then tighten the screws.

  3. Attach the End Panels

    Assemble the End Panel Channel by sliding the top channel into the bottom channel and securing with two M6 screws. Attach the End Panel Channel to the mounting brackets using one M6 screw for each bracket.

  4. Secure the Vertical Cable Manager

    Place the Vertical Cable Manager in the desired orientation and secure it using three M10 serrated flange bolts and nuts.

  5. Install the VCM Top Cap

    Position the VCM Top Cap with the brush entry oriented as desired. Align the threaded studs with the holes and install M5 flange nuts. Secure the VCM Top Cap to the front of the VCM using a 5/16" screw.

  6. Plug Unused Holes

    Plug any unused depth adjustment holes with button plugs to ensure a clean installation.
