CP-881
The CP-881 semi-automated, strip & crimp tool installs single-wire ferrules onto insulated wire. This tool is used with continuously molded ferrules on mini-reels for medium to high volume terminations and has a 1.5 second cycle time for high productivity. The color-coded die inserts are easily matched to compatible ferrules for fast, efficient changeover. The lightweight and easy movement from workstation to workstation, provides maximum job site flexibility.

- Choose the installation site
Select a level and horizontal surface for the CP-881/E installation, ensuring it meets the environmental conditions specified in the manual.
- Prepare the ferrule feeder
Take the appropriate ferrule feeder from the tool kit, insert the ferrules into the guide until the stop pin is reached, pull the pin upwards, and move the ferrules to the mark before letting the pin go.
- Connect the main power supply
Ensure the cover is closed, connect the main cable to the CP-881/E and the main power supply, and turn on the main switch to put the device into operation mode.
- Prepare the cable for crimping
Align the cable as straight as possible and cut it cleanly to ensure successful crimping.
- Start the CP-881/E
Check that the cover is closed, turn on the CP-881/E using the main switch, and verify that the counter is at zero.
- Crimp the cable
Insert the cable straight into the funnel guide until it stops, allowing the CP-881/E to automatically crimp and strip the cable.
- Perform daily maintenance
Disconnect the main power supply, open the cover, remove insulation scraps, and ensure the container is emptied and reinserted before closing the cover.
