Verify that power is OFF before working on wiring, and note that cushioned grips do not insulate against shock while working on live circuits.

The CT-1700 features a controlled cycle mechanism that prevents the tool from opening before the crimp cycle is complete.

In-service tools should be cleaned and inspected at least once a month and lubricated once a week with DOW CORNING® Molykote BR2 Plus.
