Overview

The ABB K675SOP-SP is a factory-assembled, 900 Amp insulated parking bushing designed for medium-voltage applications up to 25kV. This stand-off plug features a permanently installed stud that cannot be removed in the field, ensuring consistent torque and eliminating installation errors. The unit is rated for continuous operation at 900 Amps, making it suitable for switchgear, transformers, and cable terminations in industrial and utility environments. The insulated parking bushing provides a secure connection point for temporary cable parking or equipment isolation without compromising system integrity. Its 15/25kV rating aligns with common medium-voltage distribution standards, supporting compatibility with existing infrastructure. The stand-off design maintains clearances and reduces the risk of accidental contact during maintenance or testing procedures. Key specifications include: - Voltage class: 15/25kV (meets ANSI/IEEE Standard 386) - Continuous current rating: 900 Amps - Maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage: 8.3kV (15kV class) / 16.2kV (25kV class) - Maximum phase-to-phase operating voltage: 14.4kV (15kV class) / 28kV (25kV class) - Impulse withstand (BIL): 95kV (15kV class) / 140kV (25kV class) - One-minute AC withstand: 34kV (15kV class) / 45kV (25kV class) - Momentary rating: 25kA symmetrical for 10 cycles The K675SOP-SP is ideal for applications requiring temporary cable parking or equipment isolation, including substations, switchgear compartments, and cable terminations. Its non-removable stud design ensures long-term performance by preventing tampering or improper reassembly. The factory-assembled construction guarantees consistent quality and reliability in medium-voltage systems.
