K650-J3-6

The K650J3 is a 15/25kV, 600 Amp Deadbreak 3-Way Junction. It features a fully shielded, fully submersible molded rubber housing.

For the 15kV voltage class, the BIL impulse withstand is 95kV (1.2 x 50 microsecond wave).

To order the K650J3 with "U" style mounting straps only, add "-5" at the end of the catalog number.

Each kit contains one basic molded junction K650J3, mounting hardware 600J3-6, two tubes of lubricant 82-08, installation instructions IS-0207, and three protective caps 650PPC-01.

The K650J3 features 100% peroxide-cured construction, including insulation and conductive EPDM materials.

The K650J3 provides mating for Elastimold® 600 A Series Elbow connectors. It also mates with K655 Elbow Connector, K655BE Bushing Extender, and 655BEA3 Bushing Adapter.

For the 28kV voltage class, the BIL impulse withstand is 140kV (1.2 x 50 microsecond wave).

For the 28kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 16.2kV.

For the 15kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 8.3kV.

The K650J3 has a continuous current rating of 600 Amps for both 15kV and 28kV voltage classes.
