The 162A4 Elbow Connector is rated for 15kV voltage class, with an 8.3kV maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage and 14.4kV maximum phase-to-phase.

The kit includes the elbow connector housing, a bi-metal compression lug, probe, probe wrench, and a bushing insert. It also contains lubricant, a crimp chart, and installation instructions.

For Copper Tape Shield Cables, the 200ECSG3 sealing and grounding kit is recommended. Add suffix "-SG3" to the part number for cables with nominal O.D. from .80 in to 1.50 in.

For Jacketed Concentric Neutral Cables, the 200ECS sealing kit is recommended. Add suffix "-S" to the part number for cables with nominal O.D. from .80 in to 1.50 in.

For safety purposes, a sealing and grounding kit with the loadbreak elbow is highly recommended.

Installation instructions are included in the kit, identified as IS-1378.

Copper compression lugs are for copper conductors only. Bi-metal compression lugs are suitable for both copper or aluminum conductors.

The connector has a 10kA Symmetrical 10 Cycles Momentary & Fault Close rating.
