The integrated bail assembly secures the feed-thru insert to the bushing well, maintaining mechanical integrity and electrical contact pressure during operation. Designed to ANSI/IEEE Standard 386, the 2702A1-CS2037 meets critical performance benchmarks including 21.1kV maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage, 150kV BIL impulse withstand, and 50kV AC one-minute withstand. It supports continuous and loadbreak operation at 200 Amps with a 10kA symmetrical momentary and fault close rating for 10 cycles. The unit features peroxide-cured insulation and jacket for enhanced durability in harsh environments. Primary applications include transforming radial-feed transformers into loop-feed units, providing extra tap connections for elbow arrester installations, and interfacing shielded cable with sub-surface transformers, generators, pad-mounted transformers, switchgear, regulators, and reclosers. The black vent ring ensures proper pressure equalization during loadbreak operations. This CS2037 customer modification is supplied as a four-pack, pre-assembled with bail assemblies for immediate deployment.
