This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing side-mount filter fans and grilles in an enclosure, ensuring proper fit and function.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure. Ensure the area is clear of internal components before cutting.
- Cut the opening
Using the appropriate tool, cut the hole in the enclosure according to the size specified for your model. Deburr the cutting edge to avoid sharp edges.
- Install the fan or grille
Insert the fan or grille into the opening and push until all four corners snap and lock into place. If necessary, use mounting fasteners for thicker materials.
- Secure the installation
If using mounting fasteners, remove the grille and drill out the required mounting holes. Torque the fasteners to 20-25 in-lbs (2.3-2.8 Nm) and reinstall the grille.
