This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing side-mount filter fans and grilles in an enclosure.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure. Ensure it is aligned properly before proceeding.
- Cut the hole
Using the appropriate drill bit, cut out the hole in the enclosure as specified for your model. Deburr the cutting edge to avoid sharp edges.
- Insert the fan or grille
Insert the fan or grille into the cutout until all four corners snap and lock into place. If necessary, remove the grille to install mounting fasteners.
- Install mounting fasteners
If the enclosure material thickness requires it, drill out the mounting holes in the filter housing and install the mounting fasteners. Torque them to 20-25 in-lbs (2.3-2.8 Nm).
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wiring diagrams provided in the manual to connect the filter fan to the power supply. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Verify clearance
