How to Install Panduit PR2V Vertical Manager Cold Aisle Containment Accessories
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the brush entry cable manager cover, rack extension top, and vertical cable manager extension covers for Panduit PR2V series vertical managers in cold aisle containment systems.

Drill/Driver with T25 Torx drive bit, 15mm socket wrench, 8mm socket wrench
Supplies needed:
M5x0.8 x 12mm Thread forming screws, M5x0.8 x 5mm machine screws, M5 acorn nuts, M10 serrated flange bolts, M10 serrated flange hex nuts
- Install the Brush Entry Cable Manager Cover
Place the brush entry cover assembly over the top opening of the PR2V vertical cable manager. Align the cover assembly mount slots with the extruded holes on the front-to-back cable manager door hinge channels (two holes per side). Secure the cover by installing the M5x0.8 x 12mm thread forming screws into the extruded holes using a drill/driver with a T25 Torx drive bit. If using a Front & Back Cable Manager, ensure the larger side faces forward and use one M5 screw per side.
- Install the Rack Extension Top
Position the rack cover extension in front of the top area of the AR4P rack, between two previously installed PR2V**CACFSTC** covers. Ensure the short flange on the rack extension cover is oriented over the cable manager door. Align the rack extension cover mount slots with the tapped holes on the top of the vertical manager covers (two holes per side). Install the M5x0.8 x 5mm machine screws into the tapped holes to secure.
- Attach the Bottom Vertical Cable Manager Extension Cover
Position the bottom cover against the vertical cable manager, ensuring the flap seal flange points inward towards the molded fingers. Attach a joining plate to the top of the bottom cover with the threaded studs pointing outward, and secure it with two M5 acorn nuts. Then, attach the bottom cover to the side of the vertical cable manager using two M10 serrated flange hex bolts and two M10 serrated flange hex nuts. Use an 8mm and 15mm socket wrench as needed.
- Attach the Top Vertical Cable Manager Extension Cover
First, remove the two M5 screws from the outer side of the PR2V**CACFSTC** assembly. Position the top cover against the vertical cable manager, with the flap seal flange pointed inward towards the molded fingers. Attach the top cover to the side of the vertical cable manager using two M10 serrated flange hex bolts and two M10 serrated flange hex nuts. Attach a joining plate to the bottom of the top cover with the threaded studs pointing outward, securing it with two M5 acorn nuts. Finally, re-attach the two M5 screws to secure the top cover to the PR2V**CACFSTC** assembly.
- Install the Rubber Flap Seal
Position the rubber flap seal and slide it onto the short flange of the side cover. Ensure the flap seal is fully seated on the flange. This seal is designed to create a seal against the vertical cable manager door when it opens and closes.
