The incoming cable anchor post can be installed can be attached to the Incoming Cable Plate (Panduit part number FWMHSS-ICP, sold separately) to strain relief the cable central strength member. All necessary hardware is included for this part. This Incoming Cable Anchor Post is stainless steel.

This 13-21mm (1/2"-13/16") cable gland is to be used to secure incoming fiber cable to HD Fusion Wall Mount enclosures (Panduit part numbers FWMHSS*S-3456 and FWMHSS*S-6912, sold separately). Circular cutouts in the top, bottom and side cover plates are designed to fit this cable gland. This cable gland requires a cutout diameter of 33mm (1 1/4"), requiring Panduit part number FWMHSS*-12X32. This cable gland is black in color.

How to Install the FWMHSSG-12X32 Enclosure
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the FWMHSSG-12X32 enclosure, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Tools needed:
Phillips screwdriver, Socket (11/32) for hex nuts
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cable glands, Incoming cable plates, Tak Ty
- Mount the enclosure
Secure the enclosure to the wall using appropriate mounting hardware. Ensure the wall is flat to prevent distortion.
- Install incoming cable plates
Align the incoming cable plates with the incoming cable and secure them using the mounting nuts from the side or top/bottom cover plates.
- Connect cable glands
Remove the plastic plugs from the cutouts and replace them with cable glands. Tighten the cable glands securely around the incoming cables.
- Route and secure cables
Strip the outer cable jacket to expose at least 20 feet of fiber and route the fibers within the enclosure. Use Tak Ty to secure the cables to the cable supports.
- Install splice trays
Insert the upper pin of the splice tray into the splice tray holder and snap the lower pin into the plastic snap holder. Ensure up to 24 splice trays are installed.
- Perform grounding installation
Remove existing lock nuts and install the grounding kit. Fasten the #8-32 lock nuts to secure the grounding kit to the chassis.
