Supplies needed:
FWMHSS-CG1321 cable gland, Incoming Cable Plate, Mounting nuts, Heat shrink tubing (not included), Tak Ty
- Prepare the enclosure
Remove the plastic plug from the designated cutout on the enclosure where the cable gland will be installed.
- Install the cable gland
Insert the FWMHSS-CG1321 cable gland into the cutout and secure it tightly to the enclosure.
- Attach the Incoming Cable Plate
Align the Incoming Cable Plate with the incoming cable and install it using the mounting nuts of the side or top/bottom cover plates.
- Strip the cable
Strip off the outer cable jacket to expose at least 20 feet of fiber for routing within the enclosure.
- Secure the cable
