Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cable glands, FLEX-CLIP12, Tak-Ty
- Mount the enclosure
Secure the enclosure to a flat wall using appropriate mounting hardware. Ensure the wall is flat to prevent distortion that could misalign the doors.
- Install the Incoming Cable Plate
Remove the plastic plug from the enclosure's cutout and replace it with a cable gland. Align the Incoming Cable Plate with the incoming cable and secure it using the mounting nuts from the cover plates.
- Route and secure incoming cables
Strip the outer jacket of the incoming fiber cable to expose at least 20 feet of fiber. Route the fiber through the cable gland and secure it using the FLEX-CLIP12 and Tak-Ty for proper cable management.
- Install splice trays
Insert the upper pin of the splice tray into the splice tray holder and snap the lower pin into the plastic snap holder. Ensure up to 24 splice trays can be installed in each holder.
- Connect grounding kit
Remove two existing lock nuts and install the grounding kit at a suitable location within the enclosure. Fasten the lock nuts to secure the grounding kit to the chassis.
