- Prepare the splice machine

Strip approximately 35mm of buffer and acrylate off the fiber, then clean the bare fiber with lint-free wipes and fiber cleaning solution.
- Cleave the fiber
Cleave the bare fiber to a length of 10mm, ensuring all acrylate coating has been removed for a clean cut.
- Insert the fiber into the splice holder
Place the cleaved fiber into the left-side fiber holder of the splice machine, following the specific instructions for your machine.
- Assemble the connector
Open the connector assembly blister pack and place the connector assembly into the disposable plastic holder, ensuring the fiber stub is correctly positioned.
- Perform the splice
Close the holder and wind cover of the splice stage, then initiate the splice process according to your machine's instructions.
- Apply splice protection sleeve
Once the splice is complete, gently slide the splice protection sleeve up to the rear of the fiber holder and open both holders.
- Heat the splice
