Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Bonding bolts, Support brackets, Washers, Nuts
- Select Installation Location
Choose a location for the enclosure that is free from obstacles and allows for proper installation.
- Mount Support Brackets
Attach the four support brackets under the enclosure using U-bolts and nuts around the pedestal. Ensure they are pointed towards the center and allow for side-to-side pivoting.
- Align and Secure Enclosure
Angle one side of the enclosure lower than the other to engage the mounting brackets. Rock the enclosure to align all corners and secure it using M6 X 12mm bonding bolts.
- Install Patch Panels
Remove hook and loop from patch panels, lift one patch panel, and install HD Flex 12-port cassettes starting from the bottom-most slots.
- Route Fiber Cables
Route the fiber bundle through the brushes in the adjacent opening and secure it with hook-n-loop around the cable managers.
- Connect MPO Connectors
Mate MPO connectors from the fiber cable to the rear of the cassettes, starting from the bottom and working upwards.
- Install Enclosure Cover
Attach the adhesive foam seal to the top of the enclosure and drop the cover into place, ensuring it is securely locked.
