Mounting screws, Expansion bolts, Drop cables, Pigtails, Splitters

  1. Mount the enclosure

    Drill four holes in the wall and insert an expansion bolt into each hole. Align the enclosure with the holes and use the bolts to securely fasten the enclosure to the wall.

  2. Route the drop cables

    Route the drop cables through the attachment hardware located on the bottom right-hand side of the base. Ensure the cables are positioned to enter the front of the flip tray.

  3. Connect the pigtails

    Attach the connectorized ends of the pigtails to the corresponding adapters in the adapter storage. Ensure that you match the adapter number with the appropriate cable number.

  4. Install the splitter

    If using a connectorized splitter, attach the connectors to the adapters located in the adapter storage, starting from the breakout side. Then, secure the splitter to the rear of the flip tray.

  5. Prepare the outside plant cable

    Route the outside plant cable into the bottom left-hand corner of the base and attach it inside the bracket. Strip 38 inches of the unit tube to expose the fiber for splicing.

  6. Perform fiber splicing

    Strip 18 inches of fiber from the unit tube that will be spliced to the pigtail. Complete the fusion splice and cover it with a splice sleeve, then store it in the splice storage on the rear of the flip tray.
