Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Splice chip adhesive tape, Cable ties, Heat shrink tubing
- Remove the cover
Use a screwdriver to remove the three screws securing the cover of the splice cassette. Set the cover aside.
- Install the splice chip
Center the splice chip on the base and secure it using the splice chip adhesive tape. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Insert fiber cables
Install the fiber cables into the rear of the splice chip, ensuring they are properly seated.
- Secure cables with cable ties
Use the provided cable ties to secure the fiber cables, ensuring they are organized and not under tension.
- Heat shrink cables
