Overview

The CompleTech CA380B2 is a bidirectional broadside antenna designed for reliable operation within the 365-395 MHz frequency range. This antenna offers a nominal gain of 6 dBi and features vertical polarization, ensuring effective signal transmission and reception. Its construction includes a UV-resistant ABS/FG radome with PU foam filling, providing IP67 proofing for enhanced durability and environmental protection. The radiator is made of copper for superior conductivity, and the feed point is DC short-circuited for lightning protection. The CA380B2 is equipped with a versatile N-female / TNC-female connector and boasts a VSWR of less than 1.5, minimizing signal reflection and maximizing performance. Mounting is facilitated by an aluminium alloy bracket compatible with poles ranging from 35-60 mm in diameter, secured with stainless steel V-bolts and self-locking nuts. The antenna is rated for a wind load of 70 N and operates reliably in temperatures from -40ºC to +80ºC. Key features include integrated impedance compensation and an integrated RF choke. This antenna is suitable for applications requiring robust and dependable wireless communication in the specified frequency band, such as telecommunications infrastructure, industrial IoT deployments, and private mobile radio systems. The combination of durable materials, IP67 rating, and robust mounting hardware ensures long-term operational integrity in challenging conditions.
