Mounting screws, Rated wiring connectors

  1. Disconnect power

    Ensure that the power to the luminaire is completely disconnected before beginning the installation to avoid electrical shock.

    Take off any lamps and access covers on the luminaire to expose the ballast and supply wires.

  3. Connect male side of disconnect

    Using rated wiring connectors, attach the black (line) and white (neutral) leads of the male side of the disconnect to the corresponding ballast leads. Ensure the male side is marked 'load'.

  4. Connect female side of disconnect

    Using rated wiring connectors, attach the black (line) and white (neutral) leads of the female side of the disconnect to the incoming supply leads. Ensure the female side is marked 'line'.
