Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cable ties
- Disconnect power
Ensure that all power to the circuit is disconnected to prevent electrical shock during installation.
- Mount the controller
Secure the M2D8M-2 controller to the DIN rail using the integrated clips. Ensure it is level and firmly attached.
- Strip and connect wires
Strip the ends of the wires to the appropriate length and attach them to the male and female motor disconnects as per the wire size specifications.
- Crimp connectors
Use a crimping tool to securely crimp the connectors onto the wires, ensuring a solid connection.
- Insert male pin into female barrel
Push the male pin into the female barrel until fully inserted, creating a pigtail connection.
- Slide boot onto connectors
Slide the boot or insulator onto the pigtail connectors until it stops to provide insulation.
- Secure the boot with cable ties
Fasten the first cable tie at the middle of the boot and the second tie 1/4 inch from the end of the boot, cutting off any excess.
- Dress lead assemblies
Carefully dress the lead assemblies into the junction box, ensuring no wires are pinched or damaged.
- Reconnect power and test
