How to Install the 68-HP-FFMK Furniture Feed Mounting Kit

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the 68-HP-FFMK Furniture Feed Mounting Kit in a floor box, ensuring proper wiring and sealing.

Estimated time: 45m

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter, Saw

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Sealant, Terminal connectors, Cover plugs

  1. Prepare the Floor Box

Ensure the floor box is set in concrete. Remove the temporary cover and cut the top of the box flush with the concrete floor surface.

  2. Install the Voltage Divider

Measure the depth of the floor box and cut the voltage divider to ensure it is 2-1/2” ±1/8” below the finished floor. Place the voltage divider in the box with the ribbed side facing the power side.

  3. Feed Power and Data Cables

Remove cover plugs and pull the power conductors and grounding wires through the power side of the floor box and FFMK ring. Then, pull the data cables through the data side of the floor box and FFMK ring.

  4. Seal and Install the FFMK Ring

Apply sealant around the box opening. Align the FFMK ring with the voltage divider and grooves in the floor box, then lower it into place and apply pressure to secure it.

  5. Attach Conduit Fittings

Attach suitable conduit fittings to the cover and plug any unused ports with the provided plugs, using thread sealer to block water entry.
