Overview

The ABB Copper Two-Way Splice, SKU 54810, is a tin-plated copper connector designed for reliable electrical splicing in high-voltage industrial applications. This splice is rated for up to 35 kV, making it suitable for demanding power distribution systems. It accommodates 2/0 AWG stranded copper conductors and features a long barrel design, measuring 2.13 inches in overall length, which maximizes crimp surface area for enhanced wire pull-out strength and performance. The tin plating inhibits corrosion, ensuring long-term conductivity and durability. Marked with Die Code 45 (Black), this splice facilitates easy identification and proper tool selection when used with specified crimping tools and dies. The internal wire stop prevents over-insertion of the conductor, contributing to a secure and reliable connection. This splice is UL Listed and CSA Certified to 35 kV and temperature rated to 90°C when crimped with compatible Panduit and specified competitor tools and dies. It is also tested by Telcordia to meet NEBS Level 3 requirements and is American Bureau of Shipping approved. This connector is engineered for robust performance in power systems requiring secure and efficient splicing of 2/0 AWG stranded copper conductors.
  • Rated for 35 kV for high-voltage applications.
  • Accommodates 2/0 AWG stranded copper conductors.
  • Long barrel design (2.13 inches) for increased crimp surface and pull-out strength.
  • Tin-plated copper construction for corrosion resistance and conductivity.
  • UL Listed and CSA Certified when used with specified tools and dies.
