How to Install the VC1516012 VCool System

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the VC1516012 VCool System for effective cooling of industrial cabinets.

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Locknut, Ducting kit

  1. Prepare the enclosure

    Cut a 1-1/8” hole in the enclosure using a suitable tool for the knockout size.

  2. Install the VCool unit

    Insert the VC1516012 VCool into the cut-out hole and secure it with the provided locknut.

  3. Attach the ducting kit

    Perforate the ducting kit with several 1/8” holes and secure it to the interior of the enclosure, then connect it to the cold outlet of the VCool.

  4. Connect the components

    Wire the compressed air filter, solenoid valve, and thermostat to the VCool, ensuring the thermostat is directly wired to the solenoid valve.

  5. Connect the air supply

    Connect the compressed air supply to the filter, ensuring it is installed close to the VCool and in a location where the temperature does not exceed 125°F (52°C).

  6. Verify installation

    Check all connections and ensure the VCool is securely mounted and properly wired before applying power.
