- Inspect the air conditioner
Check for any visible damage and ensure the unit is functioning correctly before installation. Connect the power cord to a grounded supply and run the unit for 5-10 minutes.
- Prepare the enclosure
Using the cutout dimensions provided in the manual, create the necessary air 'IN' and 'OUT' openings, and prepare the mounting bolt hole pattern on the enclosure.
- Install gaskets
Use the gasket kit provided to install gaskets on the air conditioner to ensure a proper seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Secure the air conditioner to the enclosure using the mounting bolts and screws provided. Ensure the unit is upright and allow it to remain in this position for at least 5 minutes before operation.
- Connect the power supply
Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements and connect the power cord to a properly grounded power supply. Avoid using an extension cord.
- Route the drain tube
Ensure the drain tube is routed without kinks and maintains a continuous downward slope to prevent overflow of the condensate drain pan.
