How to Install the HG0500403 Filter Fan
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the HG0500403 filter fan, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure and cut out the hole using the appropriate size for the HG0500403 model.
- Insert the filter fan
Deburr the cutting edge, then insert the filter fan into the opening until all four corners are snapped and locked securely.
- Secure the fan
If the enclosure material thickness is between 0.10 (2.5 mm) and 0.14 (3.5 mm), install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than 0.14 (3.5 mm), ensure fasteners are used to maintain the IP rating.
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wiring diagrams provided on page 5 of the manual to connect the filter fan to the power supply.
- Verify installation
Ensure that the installed filter fan has a minimum clearance of 7.00 (178 mm) from any obstruction.
