How to Install the HF1316413R Filter Fan
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the HF1316413R filter fan, including mounting, wiring, and configuration.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure. Cut out the hole using the appropriate size for the HF1316413R model.
- Insert the filter fan
Deburr the cutting edge and insert the filter fan into the opening until all four corners snap and lock securely.
- Secure the fan
If the enclosure material thickness is between 0.10 (2.5 mm) and 0.14 (3.5 mm), install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than 0.14 (3.5 mm), it is required to use fasteners. Torque the fasteners to 20-25 in-lbs (2.3-2.8 Nm).
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wiring diagrams provided in the manual to connect the filter fan to the power supply. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Verify installation
Check that the installed filter fan has a minimum clearance of 7.00 (178 mm) from any obstructions.
