How to Install the HG0900404 Filter Fan
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the HG0900404 filter fan into an enclosure, ensuring proper mounting and wiring.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure and cut out the hole using the appropriate size for the HG0900404 model.
- Insert the filter fan
Deburr the cutting edge and insert the filter fan into the opening until all four corners snap and lock into place.
- Secure the filter fan
If the enclosure material thickness is between 0.10 (2.5 mm) and 0.14 (3.5 mm), install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than 0.14 (3.5 mm), ensure fasteners are securely torqued to 20-25 in-lbs (2.3-2.8 Nm).
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wiring diagrams provided in the manual to connect the filter fan to the power supply, ensuring all connections are secure.
- Verify installation
Check that the installed filter fan has a minimum clearance of 7.00 (178 mm) from any obstructions to ensure proper airflow.
