Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure. Ensure it is aligned properly before proceeding.
- Cut the opening
Using the appropriate cutting tool, cut out the hole in the enclosure according to the size specified for your model. Deburr the cutting edge to avoid sharp edges.
- Insert the fan or grille
Insert the fan or grille into the cutout opening and push until all four corners snap and lock into place.
- Secure the installation
If the enclosure material thickness is between 0.10 (2.5 mm) and 0.14 (3.5 mm), install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than 0.14 (3.5 mm), ensure fasteners are used to maintain the IP/Type 12 rating.
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wire diagrams provided in the manual to connect the filter fan to the power supply, ensuring all connections are secure.
