Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template

  1. Prepare the enclosure

    Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure. Ensure the area is clear of internal components before cutting.

  2. Cut the hole

    Using the appropriate size cutout tool, cut the hole in the enclosure as specified for your model. Deburr the cutting edge to prevent injury.

  3. Insert the fan or grille

    Insert the fan or grille into the cutout until all four corners snap and lock into place. If necessary, remove the grille to install mounting fasteners.

  4. Install mounting fasteners

    For enclosure thickness between 0.10 and 0.14 inches, install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than 0.14 inches, ensure fasteners are securely torqued to 20-25 in-lbs (2.3-2.8 Nm).
