How to Install the Lay-In Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Lay-In Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and sealing for effective cable management.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Drill, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Wire connectors

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details. Ensure all connections are tight.

  2. Seal the joints

After installing the wires, seal each joint between the sections using either the LSGQR fitting method or the 90° angle sealing plate method, ensuring that gaskets are visible and properly positioned.

  3. Install the box entries

Make a cutout in the control enclosure as specified, position the box connector and gasket inside, and install the 90° angle sealing plate to secure the connection between the wireway and the enclosure.

  4. Adjust and anchor the telescope fitting

Assemble the telescope fitting by inserting the body into the straight section and adjusting to the desired length. Secure it by drilling holes and installing screws through both sections.

  5. Calibrate the wireway

Ensure that all sections are level and properly aligned. Check for grounding continuity if the wireway is to be used as ground.
