Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Gaskets, Terminal connectors, Cap nuts, Lockwashers
- Assemble the wireway sections
Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.
- Install the telescope fitting
Assemble the telescope fitting parts in the correct order, insert the body into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length. Ensure the gasket is properly positioned and secure with screws and nuts.
- Anchor the telescope fitting
If the telescope fitting is used vertically, drill .25 inch diameter holes through the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws from the outside and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.
- Cut the wireway to length
Cut the wireway body to the desired length, ensuring it is cut squarely. Weld an extra flange to the body and grind off any burrs or sharp edges.
- Install swivel nipples
Position the wireway section, flange gasket, swivel ring, and swivel nipple in the correct order. Secure with clips, screws, and nuts.
- Make box entries
For box entries, make a cutout in the enclosure as specified, position the box connector and gasket inside, and ensure another gasket is placed between the wireway and the enclosure.
