Estimated time: 1h
Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Drill, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Gaskets, Lockwashers
- Assemble the wireway sections
Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.
- Install the telescope fitting
Assemble the telescope fitting parts in the correct order, insert it into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length. Ensure the gasket is properly positioned against the flange.
- Anchor the telescope fitting
Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws through the holes from the outside and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.
- Cut the wireway to length
Cut the wireway body to the desired length, ensuring a square cut. Weld an extra flange to the body and grind off any burrs or sharp edges.
- Install the swivel nipple
Position the wireway section, flange gasket, swivel ring, and swivel nipple in order. Secure them with screws and nuts, ensuring a tight fit.
- Make box entries
Cut out the necessary openings in the enclosure for the box connector and position the gaskets accordingly. Ensure proper sealing between the wireway and enclosure.
