How to Install the DAH1001A Electric Heater
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the DAH1001A electric heater safely and effectively.

- Disconnect power supply
Ensure all power supplies to the enclosure are disconnected to avoid electric shock and equipment damage.
- Mount the heater
Center the DAH1001A heater as low as possible in the enclosure on a non-combustible metal panel. Use the included four 10−32 UNF self-tapping screws to secure the heater in a vertical position with the terminal block at the bottom.
- Connect wiring
Connect the heater lead wires to the appropriate A.C. power source, ensuring that the heater is properly grounded. Verify that exposed wires do not contact the heater housing.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired temperature, ensuring it does not exceed 75°F for optimal performance.
- Verify installation
Double-check all connections and clearances around the heater. Ensure that no heat-sensitive components are placed above the heater discharge area.
