Mounting screws, Lockwashers, Flat washers, Hex nuts, Door catch
- Position the mounting plate
Position the mounting plate on the inside of the enclosure, behind the opening provided.
- Assemble the handle mechanism
Assemble the Cutler-Hammer handle mechanism through the opening in the enclosure and through the mounting plate. Omit the cap screw and lockwasher that fits into the bottom hole of the handle mechanism.
- Install the slide arm
Install the slide arm through the slot in the bottom of the mounting plate and over the defeater part of the handle assembly. Secure it with the shoulder collar and cap screw.
- Attach the slide arm to the lock release mechanism
Attach the bottom of the slide arm to the offset arm of the lock release mechanism using flat washers, lockwashers, and hex nuts. Do not tighten yet.
- Adjust the slide arm assembly
Adjust the length of the slide arm assembly so that the safety lock releases just before the master door is fully latched. Lengthen or shorten as necessary.
- Install the door catch
Attach the door catch to the tapped spacer on the door using the provided screws and lockwashers. Ensure it prevents the door from opening when the handle mechanism is in the 'ON' position.
