How to Install the AL3A Latch Kit
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the AL3A latch kit, ensuring proper assembly and functionality.

Tools needed:
Drill, Screwdriver, Wire strippers
Supplies needed:
Nylon washers, Handle gasket, Latch rods, Roller pin, Retaining ring
- Drill holes for installation
Locate and drill holes in the door from the outside edges using the provided dimensions. Ensure not to drill holes for rod guides.
- Install handle and gasket
Place nylon washers and the handle gasket on the outside of the door to ensure proper sealing.
- Adjust latch rods
If the latch rod is too long, select the appropriate hole and cut the latch rods approximately 3/8 inch from the center of the hole. Ensure correct hole selection before cutting.
- Secure roller pin
Insert the roller pin into the designated hole and secure it with the retaining ring. Adjust the roller pin position if gasket compression is excessive.
- Position latch
Use the provided washers to position the latch by spacing it in or out as required for proper alignment.
