Overview

The nVent AL2BCCW 3-point latch kit provides secure, field-installable locking for Type 12 enclosures with heights from 16 to 30 inches. Engineered for NEMA 12 protection, this kit features a counterclockwise (CCW) keylock mechanism with a 3-point latching system for tight gasket compression and environmental sealing against dust, dirt, oil, and non-corrosive liquids. The latch rods are adjustable via pin relocation in rod guides, allowing precise tuning for optimal gasket compression. Rods can be removed by extracting the pin for maintenance or access. Integrated rollers on rod ends ease door closing, reducing wear on the enclosure and latch. The kit includes a chrome-finished steel handle, latch, rods, adjustable guides, and all hardware. All openings through the door are gasketed to ensure a complete seal. Compatible with most standard one-door Type 12 enclosures (excluding HOFFMAN disconnect, CONCEPT, or PROLINE). Ideal for manufacturing, process control, data stations, and electrical panels requiring NEMA 12-rated security and environmental protection.
  • Each kit includes a handle, latch, latch rods, adjustable rod guides and all hardware
  • These kits are available with a key locking handle, a non-locking handle or a padlocking handle
  • Two keys are furnished with keylocking handles
  • Integrated rollers on rod ends reduce door closing wear and tear
  • Chrome-finished steel construction for durability and corrosion resistance
