This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the AL3BR Padlocking Handle Kit on your enclosure, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

Drill, Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Latch rods, Roller pins, Retaining rings, Spacers, Gasket
- Drill holes for the handle
Locate and drill the holes in the door from the outside edges using the dimensions provided in the installation guide. Ensure that you do not drill holes for the rod guides.
- Assemble the handle parts
Select the correct latch rod stop for the desired handle rotation. Assemble the handle parts and the latch stop as shown in the installation guide.
- Install latch rods and secure
If the latch rod(s) is too long, select the proper hole and cut the latch rods approximately 3/8 inch from the center of the desired hole. Place the roller pin in the designated hole and secure it with the retaining ring.
- Adjust latch position
Position the spacers for the proper location of the latch. Use the provided large washers to adjust the latch position in or out as required for optimal sealing.
- Verify installation
Check that all components are securely installed and that the handle operates smoothly. Ensure that the gasket is properly compressed for a tight seal.
