How to Install the AEK115NDH Electrical Interlock

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
10−32x.5 screws, No. 10 lockwashers, Latch rods, Cotter pins
- Remove existing components
Remove the cotter pin, shoulder bolts, latch rods, latch, and spacer from the door to prepare for the interlock installation.
- Install the interlock assembly
Place the interlock assembly in the designated location on the door and secure it by tightening the handle screws. Ensure that the assembly is properly aligned.
- Wire the electrical interlock
Connect the electrical wiring to the interlock. Ensure that the wiring is configured so that the energized interlock prevents the door handle from being turned to open the door.
