Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
10−32x.5 screws, No. 10 lockwashers, Latch rods, Cotter pins
- Remove existing components
Remove the cotter pin, shoulder bolts, latch rods, latch, and spacer from the enclosure door.
- Install the interlock assembly
Place the interlock assembly in the designated location on the door and tighten the handle screws to secure it in place.
- Wire the electrical interlock
Connect the electrical wiring to the interlock, ensuring that the energized interlock prevents the door handle from being turned to open the door.
- Verify installation
Check all connections and ensure that the interlock functions correctly before energizing any circuits. Do not energize until all clearances are verified.
