Overview

The nVent ADR Double Door Enclosure (SKU: ADR1001230-316) offers a robust and space-efficient solution for protecting sensitive industrial components. Designed with a brushed stainless steel 316 construction, this enclosure provides exceptional corrosion resistance, making it ideal for demanding environments where hygiene, chemical exposure, or marine conditions are prevalent. Its double-door configuration is a key design advantage, particularly beneficial for installations in confined spaces. Unlike single-door enclosures that require significant clearance for door swing, the ADR's dual doors minimize the operational footprint, allowing for easier placement and access in tight areas. This design also distributes the weight load more evenly, enhancing the overall structural integrity and the doors' loading capacity. Engineered for superior protection, the nVent ADR enclosure boasts an IP66 rating, signifying its complete protection against dust ingress and its ability to withstand high-pressure water jets. This high degree of protection ensures that internal equipment remains safe from environmental contaminants, moisture, and harsh cleaning procedures. Consequently, these enclosures are exceptionally well-suited for critical industries such as food and beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical manufacturing, where stringent hygiene standards and reliable operation are paramount. Beyond these specialized sectors, the ADR enclosure's versatility extends to a wide array of industrial applications, including power distribution, automation control, telecommunications, and water treatment facilities, offering dependable protection across diverse operational settings. The stainless steel 316 material is chosen for its superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments, which is a common concern in food processing and coastal installations. The brushed finish not only contributes to the aesthetic appeal but also provides a durable surface that can withstand regular cleaning and minor abrasions. nVent, a trusted leader in electrical enclosure solutions, ensures that each ADR enclosure is manufactured to exacting standards, providing peace of mind for engineers and facility managers who rely on uninterrupted operation and long-term equipment longevity. The 1000x1200x300mm dimensions offer substantial internal volume for housing a variety of electrical and electronic components, including control panels, PLCs, power supplies, and networking equipment. Installation is straightforward, with provisions for wall mounting, allowing for efficient utilization of vertical space. For applications requiring enhanced security or specific internal configurations, nVent offers a comprehensive range of accessories and mounting options to tailor the enclosure to precise project requirements. Selecting the nVent ADR Double Door Enclosure means investing in a premium, durable, and highly functional protective solution designed for the most challenging industrial landscapes.
