Overview

The nVent A16R126NK is a robust 16x12x6 inch Type 3R screw-cover enclosure, constructed from 16-gauge galvanized steel. It features an ANSI 61 gray polyester powder paint finish, providing corrosion resistance for outdoor applications. Designed for wiring, junction, or pull box use, this enclosure meets NEMA/EEMAC Type 3R and IEC 60529 IP32 ratings. The screw-cover design incorporates a drip shield with a 3/4-inch overhang on all sides, offering protection against rain, sleet, snow, and dripping water without the need for gasketing. Plated steel screws secure the cover along the bottom edge for a weather-tight seal. Embossed mounting holes on the back allow direct mounting to strut or surfaces, eliminating the need for vertical mounting structures. Optional mounting brackets (sold separately) can provide 1-inch clearance to prevent pooling water damage. UL 50/50E and cUL listed, this enclosure is suitable for utilities, telecommunications, manufacturing, and building automation. The absence of knockouts allows for custom entry point creation while maintaining environmental integrity. Dimensions: 406 x 305 x 152 mm.
