Overview

The nVent A30R2410 is a robust Type 3R-rated, screw-cover drip-shield enclosure constructed from 16-gauge galvanized steel. Measuring 30 inches in height, 24 inches in width, and 10 inches in depth, this enclosure provides essential protection for outdoor electrical components. Its design meets NEMA/EEMAC Type 3R and IEC 60529 IP32 standards, safeguarding against precipitation, sleet, snow, and dripping water. The drip-shield top and seam-free sides effectively channel water away from the enclosure opening. Pre-punched knockouts in the bottom facilitate straightforward conduit entry and wiring installation. The enclosure features an ANSI 61 gray polyester powder paint finish, applied inside and out over pretreated surfaces, offering resistance to UV degradation and corrosion. For mounting, it includes embossed holes on the back for direct attachment to surfaces or strut, and optional mounting brackets are available to provide a 1-inch clearance. This enclosure is UL50/50E and cUL Listed. Applications include housing wiring, junction boxes, motor starters, VFDs, PLCs, and other control systems in utilities, telecommunications, and industrial automation projects.
