Overview

The nVent A15R126NK is a 15x12x6 inch Type 3R screw-cover enclosure constructed from 16-gauge galvanized steel. It features an ANSI 61 gray polyester powder paint finish for corrosion resistance. The drip-shield top provides a 3/4-inch overhang on all sides, effectively preventing water ingress from rain, sleet, or snow. Seam-free sides, front, and back edges further enhance protection. The secure screw-cover design utilizes plated steel screws along the bottom edge for a tight seal without gasketing. Mounting is facilitated by embossed holes on the back for direct attachment to struts or surfaces. Optional mounting brackets are available to provide 1-inch clearance, preventing pooling water damage. This enclosure meets UL 50/50E and cUL standards, adhering to NEMA Type 3R and IEC 60529 IP32 ratings. Ideal for outdoor control panels, junction boxes, instrumentation housings, and utility infrastructure, it offers durable protection for motor starters, PLCs, and electrical connections in exposed industrial locations.
