- Mount the enclosure
Turn the enclosure on its side with the locks oriented toward the top. Install wall mounting feet into the back of the enclosure, aligning threaded studs with the holes. Secure with sealing washers and nuts, tightening to 200 in-lbs.
- Install the switch
Remove wiring from terminal blocks and then remove the terminal blocks. Install the switch according to the manufacturer's instructions and wire it using the supplied Field Wiring Diagram.
- Connect power and uplink
Install power wiring according to the Field Wiring Diagram. Connect the infrastructural ground to the ground bar. For uplink, route the fiber or copper cables from the surface mount box to the switch, ensuring proper slack management.
