This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the WME3WH vertical wall mount enclosure, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Supplies needed:
#12-24 screws, M5 thread forming bonding screws, TAK-T Y hook & loop cable tie, Grommet edging
- Inspect the mounting wall
Ensure the wall is flat and has sufficient strength to support the enclosure. Use shims if necessary to prevent distortion.
- Mount the enclosure
Remove the door, top lid, bottom plate, and vertical bracket assemblies. Locate wall studs and mount the enclosure securely using #12-24 screws in six locations, ensuring at least 4" clearance on the sides and 10" from the bottom.
- Install the electrical box
Determine if the electrical box will be mounted inside or outside the enclosure. Remove the appropriate knockout and mount the electrical box accordingly, ensuring proper conduit routing.
- Ground the enclosure
Run a grounding cable from the Telecommunications Grounding Busbar to the specified M6 grounding stud on the enclosure base. Ensure the grounding conductor matches or exceeds the wire gauge for power delivery.
- Terminate the backbone cable
Route the backbone cable to the enclosure and terminate it to the appropriate module. Mount the module in a surface mount box or fiber cassette brackets as needed.
- Install active equipment
Mount the active network equipment on the E-rails, ensuring ports face up. Connect power cords to the electrical box and uplink ports to the backbone demarcation port.
- Connect patch cords
Connect horizontal cabling to the active network equipment using patch cords, starting from the outside of the patch panel and working towards the middle.
